timeless fine-art wedding photography
I work quietly, I don't get in the way and I care a lot about how things look.
I'll nudge you away for portraits at some point - not long but just enough to catch the light and have a moment to yourselves.
The rest of the day I'm just around, camera in hand, watching it all unfold. The light, the setting, the way a moment sits in a frame. I'm always chasing something worth keeping.
Take a look and see if it feels like you.
Natural light portraits
Just the two of you, somewhere beautiful, with the light doing most of the work
I'll find us a good spot and we'll take some time away from everyone. I'm not going to ask you to do anything uncomfortable, mostly I'll just get you talking and walking and let the light do its thing. These tend to be the ones that end up on the wall.
The candid and in-between
Real people, real feeling. Documentary wedding photography as it should be.
The speeches, the dancing, the huddles of people catching up over a drink. I spend most of the day here, just watching and waiting. Some of these photographs will surprise you! The people you didn't notice and moments you'd already forgotten by the time you saw them.
Details & atmosphere
The flowers, the rings, the quiet luxury of a day well put together
The details matter, especially when a lot of thought has gone into them. I make sure the flowers, the stationery, the table settings and the venue itself are all properly documented before the day gets going and everything gets a bit more chaotic.
