A Snowy Bridal Inspiration Shoot

Those of you who are familiar with my work, you'll know I LOVE taking sunny, warm summery photos. But what I don't often get to show is my love for snowy, icy weather. I'm really not a winter person...the rainy, gloomy days tend to get me down. But once the super cold snaps arrive, you can bet I am out there enjoying it all, hiking and taking lovely landscape photos.

I have never shot a wedding on a snowy day. I hardly shoot winter weddings to be honest, and I totally get why...less people get married because the weather is just too unpredictable, especially here in Wales. But I have been itching to take portraits in the snow, capturing the beauty and stillness it brings.

In come Agape Bridal Boutique who are always so ready to collaborate with me on shoots. They stock the most beautiful, luxury wedding dresses and it's always a joy to capture them. I worked with the dreamy, detailed Raven gown by Stephanie Allin and the more fitted but elegant Kiefer by Watters

Then we have Lisa. My muse! For those who have followed my work since the very start, you'll know Lisa from my fashion shoots back from the early 2010s. She is a dear friend who is always enthusiastic to model for me, and I love her creativity that reflects on to my work. It's truly amazing to work with someone who totally gets my vision every time.

This is a simple, relaxed but romantic shoot. It may not be detail heavy, but it was amazing to finally shoot in the snow and be creative with it.
