A classic, romantic wedding at Tre Ysgawen Hall

Gareth and Sara are the sweetest couple. I clicked with them from the moment I met them at their pre-wedding meeting. I discovered we have a mutual love for all things space and science, and I was floored when Sara told me about their engagement in London:

“We were on a weekend break in London like any other, and Gareth wanted to take me to the Royal Observatory as I love space etc. He was insistent that we went early in the morning and as we arrived, we were greeted by one of the astronomers. It turns out we were headed out on a private tour of the Planetarium. I had no idea what was going on of course…but the next thing I knew there was a planetary show playing (which was amazing!) and as Saturn came into view, it had the words ‘Will you marry me?’ on it and Gareth was down on one knee! After the excitement and taking photos, we went for a McDonalds lunch and then celebrated in style that evening at The Shard. Everything was planned by Gareth and it was the most amazing day.”

I mean…wow!

The wedding day was a beautiful fresh day in October and both Gareth and Sara prepared for the day with a gorgeous backdrop of the Menai Strait and Anglesey in the distance.

After a lighthearted chapel ceremony in the heart of Caernarfon, we headed to one of my favourite wedding venues in North Wales, Tre Ysgawen Hall in Llangefni. I’m such a sucker for these gorgeous country houses and their beautiful gardens! I love a gorgeous, classic wedding and that was exactly Gareth and Sara’s vision, with beautiful florals and decor setting a truly romantic tone.

Gareth and Sara’s day was full of love for each other, their families and friends. They have an amazing community of people surrounding them and it was a joy to capture it all. I absolutely love Sara’s style and sweet personality, and I had the best laughs with Gareth and his fantastic sense of humour. It was a truly special day spent in the company of two lovely humans.
