I always feel a sense of calm when heading over Pont Menai onto the isle of Anglesey for weddings. After driving through the mountains, the sky opens up and brings in a lightness…not to mention the gorgeous sweeping hills and surrounding sea.

When I heard that Gwen and Michael were going ahead with their wedding last August, I was elated. It had been a challenging few months since March as none of my weddings had gone ahead and I was truly, deeply missing them.

I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my wedding season than with this gorgeous, relaxed garden setting. Hosting the wedding at their home enabled Gwen and Michael to include their lovely pets in the festivities and their small holding was a perfect backdrop for some truly magical photographs.

Gwen and Michael clearly enjoy an adventure and I loved hopping some fences, exploring the local scenic spots with them for their portraits.

Enjoy the warmth here, not just from the amazing weather, but from this truly lovely couple who brought such beauty to their day despite the difficult circumstances.
