I’ve put careful thought into this, looking back over my career and really honing in on what got me here. Starting out 10 years ago, just me and my Canon 400D, with big dreams but feeling daunted by it all. I was super shy throughout school and college, and the thought of putting myself out there selling my talent and time filled me with dread…
Now, I have to pinch myself! My business is thriving. I have bags of confidence…
I get to travel for work and play. The shy teen in me would never have imagined travelling SOLO around the US, Europe and Asia. I’ve created a successful life changing business that I’m proud of.

I’m FULLY booked each year, as well as securing winter weddings.
I shoot weddings all over the UK and Europe. I love to travel – it’s a dream to do it and get paid for it.
I’ve gained financial stability from my business, which is just the best feeling.
Photography has been my only source of income for over 7 years.
I’ve even won awards! I’ve twice been named in the list of top 50 wedding photographers in the UK.
I’ve honed my style. I’ve perfected the look of my photographs as well as how I interact with my clients and go about shooting on the big day.
I get so many touching testimonials from couples who become friends, not just clients.
Covid-19 has had a massive impact on every single person. But I have managed to survive (and thrive!) throughout.
So, how does it work?
We will talk 1 on 1 about your wedding photography business. In keeping with the times, we will do this virtually.
We will cover obvious things like the technical aspects of shooting to things you may not have thought of yet but are just as important, such as your mindset when it comes to making money from your photography.
I have boiled it down to the vital aspects of my business, which can be covered in 3 sessions.
#1 Branding
We all know the importance of branding right? I’ll talk to you about finding your brand. It’s about presenting the right image so you can feel connected to your work and attract the right kind of customer. It can be tricky to get this right and getting the right feel of your business is everything. It will affect your perceived value and your clientele. There’s more to it than just a logo.
#2 Shooting Style
I’ll guide you through how to get that dreamy, soft, romantic look that’s full of light. I’ll take you through the technical stuff, your gear, software and so on. When you’re on the job, it’s about the practicalities of posing, composition, light and location. I will also touch on flat-lay styling for those gorgeous detail shots. And then onto the editing when we will get to grips with Lightroom.
#3 Money Matters
There’s no point in doing all of this work if it isn’t going to bring in the money! We will go over HOW to use money to benefit the business as well as being safe and organised with money. We will cover Covid19 - how I survived financially and how to survive future economic uncertainty. I’ll show you the value of collaborations and forming relationships with other businesses, which has not only benefited me financially but in a myriad of ways. Something we all struggle with as flawed humans is our mind-set towards money - how you present your business and yourself will affect how much money you make. I’ll also touch on the fun, but overlooked bit - the importance of spending money on yourself, not just the business.
I want our conversations to leave you with belief in your business, belief in yourself, and the confidence to succeed and grow.
It’s so inspiring to bounce ideas and talk to someone who’s been through it all. I love sharing my knowledge and ideas, but I’m also a really good listener. I want to hear about you and your business.
